I am not very into country, but interested in reggi style blues grass songs, Did you know the film O, my brother,where art thou?, that is a big collection of blue grass, some of them , I guess are older than America history. I love all songs in this movie, even the nigro soul music by those colored prisoners.

I even got s soundtrack for it.
