诺贝尔文学奖得主高行健和米勒女士也曾经是逃离祖国、家园者（Fluechtling）；外文词的修辞色彩不确定为是贬义的，但相应的中文词“难民”是贬义的。
廖亦武逃到德国却强调不当“难民”，在我看来是比较典型的心理表现：实际他上逃到德国，并得到德国的保护，还非要脖子耿耿的嘴硬。
