Cursed Alps mummy claims victim No 6

OETZI, the cursed 5,300-year-old iceman, has claimed his sixth "victim".
The death of historian Konrad Spindler is the latest tragedy to strike those linked with disturbing the Stone Age warrior - found perfectly preserved, frozen in the Italian Alps.
Spindler, 66, had been asked if he believed the curse. He replied "No. Next thing you will be saying I will be next." He was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died this week.
Oetzi was found 14 years ago by German tourist Helmut Simon. He later set out for a hike but froze to death in a freak blizzard. Then forensic expert Dr Rainer Henn crashed his car on his way to lecture on Oetzi.

Mountaineer Kurt Fritz was buried in an avalanche which missed everyone else. Film-maker Rainer Hoelzl died in agony from a mystery illness.
Dieter Warnecke led the hunt for Simon and had a heart attack an hour after Simon was buried.
Oetzi is now in a refrigerated case in a museum in Bolzano, Italy.
Anthropologist Juergen Petzl said ancient tribes put curses over the dead to "haunt those who disturbed the dead and failed to respect their right to peace".
