I think it is your problem. You have two choices:
1). Pay the girl Gratuity. One or two bucks is enough each time.
2). Explictily tell that guy that you will come back in 5 to 10 minutes. They got to run a business, and they have no obligation to hold the dish for you if you do not show up in time. You got to pay it even if you didn't show up. It is a business, and it is not your home. Respect it.
