◇◇新语丝(www.xys.org)(xys.dxiong.com)(xys.dropin.org)(xys-reader.org)◇◇   中科院化学所所长万立峻是个不合格的教授   尊敬的方舟子先生,您好!   作为一名有良知的科学工作者,我认为有必要向您反映一个真实情况:   2004年德国科学家Daniel Friebel教授发表文章(On the Existence of Ordered Organic Adlayers at the Cu(111)/Electrolyte Interface, Langmuir 2004, 20, 2803-2806)针对万立骏等在1997-2003期间发表的十三篇论 文Ref. 2-14(包括Langmuir, 1997,13, 7173; Surf. Sci. 2001, 487; JPC. B, 2002, 106, 11272; Surf. Sci. 2002, 520, L625; Langmuir, 18, 5133; Surf. Sci. 2001, 478, L320 ; Angew. Chem. 2002, 41, 3408; JACS, 2002,124,14300; Surf. Sci. 2003, 531, 226; Langmuir, 19, 1958; Chem. Lett. 2003, 32, 702; JPC. B 2003, 107, 8474)的结果提出严重质疑 (“serious doubt”). 这十三篇论文当中, 除一篇是万立骏在日本的工作外,其 余都是他回国后发表的论文.   Daniel Friebel教授在摘要中指出:   “In fact, the similarity of all structures reported by wan et al. for a good variety of different organic adlayers on Cu(111) in 0.1 M HClO4 solution including cinchonine with the (4 x 4) superstructure found here already in pure HClO4 solution (i.e. without organic solute) casts serious doubt on the validity of those previous results by Wan et al in general”   Reference :Langmuir 2004, 20, 2803   在这十三篇论文中,万立骏等人所观察到的有机分子的阵列结构,其实都是电 解液中不同观察条件下电极表面的结构. Daniel Friebel教授结果证实, 这些分 子不存在时也可以观察到.   “Adsorption of a vast number of organic compounds ranging from simple arenes to crown ethers and, more recently. Even chiral compounds on Cu(111) in 0.1 M HClO4 has been studied by STM by Wan et al. in refs 2-14 … …”   Reference :Langmuir 2004, 20, 2803   “Summarizing, … …, …. From the comparison of our own STM data with the results of Wan et al , we conclude that none of the adlayer structures reported in refs 2-14 is due to presence of adsorbed organic moleculies because the structures described by Wan er al are identical to the “inorganic” (4 x 4) structure which, according to our measurements, exists already in pure 0.1 M HClO4, solution. All STM images which were reported to show internal structures of the orgainic” (4 x 4) structure, i.e. in the absence of these compounds by just varying the tunneling conditions, i.e. the tunneling current and the bias voltage. Moreover, our measurements show that even in the presence of cinchonidine in the solution, the “inorganic” (4 x 4) structure is not displaced. Therefore we express our serious doubts that any of the STM images shown by Wan et al. in ref. 2-14 correspond to the claimed organic adlayers.”   Reference :Langmuir 2004, 20, 2806   一项持续七年的工作, 包括万在内共六位第一作者,居然没有搞清在不同观 察条件下电极表面的结构. 也就是说对照实验不确认(这是科学实验的基本常识)! 可见作者们的科学态度及严谨性都是需要推敲的. 这样的科学素质与一名合格教 授的距离差得太远! 综合评价万的科研水平,充其量是个高级实验员, 一言以蔽 之, 就是买来或要来有机小分子用STM“看”, 没有明确的科学问题, 也没有自 己的学术思想。但是,如果“看”的结果真假不辨就发表,那么连当合格的实验员 都不称职。   其实, 六位第一作者当中无人作对照实验是难以置信的! 毕竟那是一个水平 很高的实验室!   另外,他在申报院士的材料里很可能隐瞒了上述事实, 不作任何说明, 反而 用这些文章及引用充当业绩, 那么, 他的诚信也就更不符合科学工作者的标准了!   科学面前是人人平等的,伪科学面前也该人人平等!   我认为揭露真实事件是作为一个普通的科学工作者对学术界最起码的责任。   一名普通的科学工作者 (XYS20071102) ◇◇新语丝(www.xys.org)(xys.dxiong.com)(xys.dropin.org)(xys-reader.org)◇◇
