from Telecom infrastructure point of view, they all digital packets. then what is advantage of Voice/IP over normal telephone service. since voice/ip needs QoS as well, I didn't see any cost advantage over traditinal telephone. Why people are still talking about this and unversity undergraduate students are still doing this research as final project.
