The only good thing about 中医 is it can provided
some placebo benefits when 现代医学 is not available
YET. That is why Chairman Mao promoted combination
of 中xi 医 in teh countryside because he figured
Xi 医 would not be accecssible to the poor and
lower middle peasants anyway. But the logic
behind Mao's thinking is not a medical one
but a social one.
