chaotic theory is still an abstraction and simplification of actual real situations. it is a mathematical theory and is very rigorous. in a sense, the methodology of chaotic theory is similar to classic physics since they are all simplification of the real world. To obtain some useful conclusions, simpflications are always needed. That's the way to solve the problem.
Chinese traditional medical theory is also a simplification of the real situation. Unfortunately it is too simple to be useful, and has no much room for further improvement. Modern medical science is much more accurate than the traditional medical theory. Therefore although traditional medical theory may be useful in ancient time, but now there are much better theories, therefore it is a dead end.
