If you do, just google "J2EE .NET", tons of reports will show up. TheServerSide and ObjectWatch have many though biased reports. It's an endless debate. But basically J2EE is more popular (not more powerful). If you are looking for development framework, Ruby on Rails is easier (not more powerful).
