***** Protest in Front of UN on April 22nd *****

Dear fellow Columbia Chinese:

We finally got approval from New York City Government after waiting 15 days!
Our protest to oppose Japan's bid for a permanent seat on the U.N. Security
Council will be held on this Friday, April 22, from 1 pm – 3 pm, at Dag
Hammarskjold Plaza.(47th street and 1st Avenue, For detail info, go to
www.tycool.com/422 ).

We will also send our letters to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan; Permanent
Representative of China to the UN, Wang Guangya; Ambassador of
Consulate-General in New York, Liu Biwei; Permanent Representative of Japan to
the UN, Kenzo OSHIMA.

As said by one of our member, We are here in New York, right in front of the
United Nations. We have over 1000 Chinese in CUCSSA community and we need to
stand up to make our voice for our nation. It's our duty!! Our efforts will
be much more effective in the international community than demonstrations
inside China. We have NO excuse to sit and keep our mouth shut!! If we do not
stand up in front of United Nations in New York city, who will??

Join our protest, everyone of us will make a difference. It is not only for
our nation, it is for all ourselves!

There are a lot of work to do, such as preparing slogans, media coverage, etc,
